I recently had an animation course in our university and this was the first time we were dealing with animating a "sequence". The approach we had was to understand the "timing", how fast or slow something moved in a space, and we did a few prep exercises to get the hang of it. To make things more structured we were told to choose an "instrumental" music sequence of 10 sec to match the mood of our animation or the other way round.

I had thought long and hard about what to choose and
decided on the initial instrumental portion of "Ra Ra" from Chandramukhi.

Why this sequence you ask? I'm no music expert but Ra Ra, in my observation, has an intriguing and fun tonality. The horror association of it is one use case but I wanted to try pairing it with humour. Hence I made this fun sequence with a boy character trying to light a rocket and how that ends up is for you to see.

Happy Watching!
